This surgery is also known as closed lung surgery and is a minimally invasive surgical method. With this method, the incisions made on the patient are very minimal. In this method, several small incisions are made and intra-pulmonary imaging is performed with a camera. Instead of 20-25 cm incisions in open surgery (thoracotomy), this method uses a 1 cm camera incision and 4-5 cm auxiliary incisions. Depending on the situation, it can be performed with a single incision, or in surgeries such as pneumothorax, the operation can be shaped with a single 2 cm incision.<\/p><p>Video-assisted surgery, with the help of video, allows the image to be larger, clearer and more precise and safer to view the marginal areas.
